Reef Check is a non-profit charitable organization that relies on sponsorship from outside sources for all funding of its global projects. Sponsors provide RC with free or discounted boat use, airfares, dive equipment, hotel accommodation, cash donations for general operation support and educational outreach. RC is grateful to all of its sponsors, big and small, who are committed to reversing the coral reef crisis. Please contact us regarding our Corporate Sponsorship packages.

Reef Check is a global network of thousands of volunteers who carry out the RC program in over 90 countries and territories worldwide. Without the dedication of the RC "family" members who have donated their time and energy to this program since 1997, it would not be possible to monitor hundreds of reefs each year. It is because of this commitment and perseverance that RC has become the largest, community-based ecological monitoring program in the world.

Reef Check thanks the hundreds of scientists who train and lead the teams, and the RC Coordinators who donate their time to train volunteers, organize surveys, find local sponsors, and increase awareness of coral reef health in their local communities.

Thank you

Corporate Sponsorship

Reef Check works with corporations that share our vision that a healthy planet must include coral reefs – the tropical paradise.

We are presently seeking a select few, key industry partners who are interested in investing in a long-term partnership that will bridge the gap between coral reef conservation and private sector marketing.

“Since 1999, partnering with Reef Check has raised Quiksilver’s profile as an environmentally proactive company on an international level and has opened new marketing opportunities for us. It continues to be an excellent investment.”

Bob McKnight, CEO Quiksilver Inc.
"We at Body Glove believe that as a successful company, we have an obligation to give back to the community and try and help make the world we live in a better place. As many of our products are water related, we feel strongly about the ocean, the coral reefs, and the need to protect them, so future generations will have a better world. We are proud to support Reef Check. We feel that they are one of the best environmental groups active today, as they not only point out problems, they have developed solutions that actually work to improve and bring back coral reefs."

Russ Lesser, President of Body Glove International.

Our non-profit organization is the largest coral reef education, monitoring and management program in the world. We provide recreational divers an opportunity to learn more about the coral reefs they love, and to actively participate in saving them from destruction.

Join Reef Check in providing divers with a new and inspiring underwater experience. Divers will begin to see and appreciate the aquatic environment in a new way. Your customers will feel confident that they have contributed to conserving the reefs that they travel so far to experience.

Market research shows that over 87% of Americans believe that coral reef conservation is very important, and the likelihood of repeat visits by divers is strongly influenced by how well the company is perceived to care for the environment. Reef Check provides an exciting opportunity for divers to become involved in scientific exploration. Earn a “green” reputation as a company that is taking steps to integrate ecologically sound practices into their activities.
