Jos Hill is the Managing Director of Reef Check Australia and a scuba instructor. Jos established a Reef Check project in Australia in 2001 and founded the Reef Check (Australia) Foundation Ltd. in 2004. Jos works with the International Reef Check team on developing and implementing the EcoAction Program and assists with the establishment of new Reef Check programs in the Asia Pacific region. Jos received her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology at Leeds University, UK and her Masters of Applied Science in Natural Resource Management at James Cook University, Townsville, Australia in 2002. Jos has gained her experience in working with volunteers to conduct coral reef monitoring in Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Vanuatu. She arrived in Australia to establish a Reef Check project in 2000...and the rest is history.
